LLNL Emergency Management Plan (EPlan) <br />Rev 27 <br />January 2022 <br /> <br /> 114 <br />Acronyms & Definitions <br /> <br />Term Description <br />ACFD Alameda County Fire Department <br />ACRECC Alameda County Regional Emergency Communications Center. <br />Located at LLNL it is operated and managed by the Alameda <br />County Fire Department. Handles dispatching of Alameda <br />County Fire Department Stations 20 and 21 at LLNL, also known <br />as Fire Dispatch. <br />ACSO Alameda County Sheriff’s Office <br />Activate The order or direction from the responsible authority <br />(e.g., LEDO, EMDO) to make the EOC or another emergency <br />response facility operational. <br />Activation Actions taken to activate, staff, set up, and make operational an <br />emergency facility in support of emergency activities. Includes <br />notification of the emergency response organization staff and <br />notification of offsite agencies. <br />AEGL Acute Exposure Guideline Level <br />Alameda County EMA Alameda County Emergency Manager’s Association <br />Alert An Operational Emergency that is expected to have significant <br />impacts (Protective Action Guide or AEGL60-2/ERPG-2/TEEL-2 <br />exceeded) at or beyond thirty meters from the release point, but <br />less than 100 meters and/or the facility boundary. <br />ALF Administration, Logistics, and Finance <br />AtHoc The PPD emergency information notification system, a digital <br />system that uses telephones to relay appropriate event <br />information. <br />BEC Building Emergency Coordinator <br />Cal OES California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services.
