I have attached a blank template for your <br /> reference. <br /> Response: HMBP training record is attached. <br /> Hazardous Waste <br /> 117 , HSC 25185(c)(3)Failed to submit a written response within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. <br /> OBSERVATION: This business did not provide a written response to the inspection report dated 4112/2018 within 30 <br /> days. The written response was received late on 6/14/2018. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The operator of the site or facility which receives an inspection report shall submit a <br /> written response to the department or the local officer or agency authorized to enforce this chapter pursuant to <br /> subdivision (a)of Section 25180 within 60 days of receipt of the inspection report, or within a shorter time as the <br /> department or the local officer or agency may reasonably require, which shall include a statement documenting <br /> corrective actions taken by the operator or proposing corrective actions which will be taken by the operator, for <br /> purposes of compliance with this chapter, or disputing the existence of the violation. The local agency, the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, requires response within 30 days. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department. <br /> This is a Class II violation <br /> #117: provide a statement how this will be addressed going forward. <br /> Response: Inspection reports shall be forwarded to supervisors and consultant immediately. A corrective <br /> action statement will be prepared and forwarded to the assigned inspector prior to the date designated by <br /> your agency or within 30 days, whichever date is earliest. It will document corrective actions already taken, <br /> provide information on proposed corrective actions to include how they will be taken and timelines as <br /> appropriate, and/or dispute the existence of a violation if necessary. This statement may also include photos <br /> or other documentation of return to compliance. <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2)Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed on-site- <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of fuel contaminated liquid was observed with an open bung in the hazardous <br /> waste storage area. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br /> storage. except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br /> when not adding or removing waste. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation.
