EXHIBIT G <br />TO: Request of the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors <br />FROM: Santos Ranch Citizens Group <br />-Penny Wilson <br />_ -Andrea Schlueter <br />-Betty Rheem <br />-Lloyd Dickinson <br />DATE: 16 August 1984 <br />Authorize the San Joaquin Public Works Department to file for Clean <br />Water Act Grant for planning report covering water and sewage problems <br />at Santos Ranch Development under Section 205 (j) by 5:00 p.m., 20 August <br />1984, subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The Santos Ranch Citizens Group will prepare the application at <br />their expense and deliver said application to the Sun Joaquin County <br />Public Works Department for review by 9:00 a.m., 20 August 1984. <br />2. The grant request will be for approximately $20,000 of which 25% <br />will be matching local funds to be paid by the Santos Ranch Citizens <br />Group. If the grant is received, there will be no expense to San <br />Joaquin County either for the application preparation, application <br />processing or the actual study or any work associated with said study. <br />- All costs associated with the above work will be at expense of the <br />Santos Ranch Citizens Committee who are solely responsible for <br />providing the necessary funds for this work. At the time the grant <br />is accepted by San Joaquin County the Santos Ranch Citizens Group <br />will deposit the projected local share (25% of the estimated work <br />plan cost) with the County of San Joaquin. <br />3. The grant application preparation, application processing and planning <br />study work will be done by Moldenhauer Engineering Company of <br />Davis, California - the Santos Ranch Citizens Group's Engineer in <br />accord with state and federal requirements for the Clean Water <br />Act Grant in question. The work contract will be between the San <br />Joaquin County and Moldenhauer Engineering Company. The Santos <br />Ranch Citizens Group and their attorney reserve the right to review <br />and concur with the terms of the study's Work Plan. <br />_ Time is of the essence since the application must be filed with the State <br />Water Resources Control Board, Sacramento California by 5:00, 20 August <br />1984. <br />
