Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. Environmental Health Division requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading study incorporating <br /> the number of proposed employees and customer use, indicating that the area is suitable for <br /> septic tank usage and winery waste. This must be performed prior to issuance of building <br /> permits (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A nitrate loading <br /> study is required and a review fee of$445.00 must be paid at time of submittal to <br /> Environmental Health Division. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$89.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP) and nitrates prior to issuance of building permit(s). Samples are to be taken and <br /> analyzed by a State-approved laboratory. (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section <br /> 9-1115.7). <br /> C. State on revised site plans the maximum number of employees and customers the sewage <br /> disposal system is being designed for. Show on revised plans that the leach field area will be <br /> barricaded so it cannot be driven over, parked on, or used as a storage area. This leach field <br /> area must be used for that specific purpose only, and it cannot contain any underground <br /> utility lines. In addition, provide the required 100% replacement area for the existing and <br /> proposed sewage disposal area(s) (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1110.4(c)(5)). <br /> Page 1 of 2 -0 <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services F �' <br />
