Safety and Health Plan <br />1515 Fresno Ave Industrial Building Development Stockton, California Irerracon <br />November 16, 2021 Terracon Project No. NA215051 <br />visitors will be briefed on site contaminants, personal protective equipment requirements and <br />the decon provisions of this Plan. <br />• The SSO will continually inspect the work area for infractions of Health and Safety <br />requirements contained in this plan. <br />• The SSO will investigate and immediately report all accidents to the Corporate Safety and <br />Health Manager. <br />• Site activities will be conducted only during daylight hours unless adequate portable lighting <br />is mobilized to the project site. <br />• The "buddy system" will be observed at all times during intrusive site investigations. A <br />minimum of two people will work together and remain within eye sight or not greater than 100 <br />ft. apart. <br />11.0 SITE CONTROL <br />Defined access and egress points will be established and personnel will enter only through those <br />points. <br />If unauthorized personnel attempt to enter the exclusion zone, the SSO will verbally inform the <br />individual(s) to leave the project site. If unauthorized individuals refuse to leave the exclusion <br />zone or are considered in danger or pose danger to project personnel, the SSO will cease project <br />activities (i.e., shut down drill rigs, excavation equipment, etc.) and notify the client representative <br />or the local police of the situation. Site activities will not resume until unauthorized personnel have <br />left the project site. <br />12.0 AIR MONITORING AND SITE ACTION LEVELS <br />Air monitoring is not anticipated for this site. <br />13.0 PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS <br />The project activity anticipates the use of LEVEL D personal protective equipment to include: <br />• Hard Hat <br />• Safety Footwear (ASTM spec; Impermeable or with outer impermeable covers) <br />• Cut and Impact Resistant Gloves <br />• Safety Eye Wear (ANSI Z-87 specification) <br />• Hearing Protection (if within 10 feet of drill rigs, concrete coring or other equipment <br />which impairs normal conversation at < 5 feet.) <br />13 <br />
