Install a shear valve (must have <br /> external NPTthreads) to the steel riser <br /> (3). Mark at the cut point on the outside pipe, applying pipe dope to the steel <br /> of the riser jacket 1-1/4" below the top riser pipe threads. There must be 4" of <br /> edge of the riser steel pipe contained steel pipe extended beyond the riser <br /> inside. jacket to allow the pipe wrench to grab <br /> the steel riser pipe. <br /> ]it <br /> (3). Now temporarily mount the riser <br /> (4). Place lubricant Iwhite lithium grease <br /> or 0-ring lubricant) generously around 1 <br /> the riser jacket, 1/2" below the shear �.. <br /> valve adapter as shown. <br /> (7). Insert the coax riser nut (extra-long) <br /> over and down the yellow riser jacket. <br /> Tighten the nut securly onto the fitting so <br /> (6). Position the rubber bushing securely <br /> that the rubber bushing is fully <br /> compresed.Do not use any tools to secure into riser pipe adapter. Tighten the riser <br /> coax riser nut. pipe nut securely onto the shear valve <br /> adapter so that the rubber bushing is <br /> fully compressed.
