The project proposes a truck parking facility to include a 4 , 900- square - foot <br /> maintenance building and parking for 96 tractor- trailers . The project will be located at 15314 <br /> Thornton Road , Lodi . STAA trucks will be allowed here . The Department has the following <br /> comments : <br /> 1 . Caltrans recommends the collection of impact fees for future improvements at the <br /> intersections of SR 12 & Thornton Rd and SR 12 & 1 - 5 northbound and southbound ramps . <br /> 2 . There is a " No STAA Truck Terminal Access " sign approximately 1 , 000 ft to the north of <br /> the project site . The County must work with the applicant to ensure that STAA trucks <br /> leaving from the proposed driveway can make a left turn directly onto Thornton Rd <br /> during all hours of operations so that no STAA trucks will drive into restricted areas .
