Any <br />subcontractors who may be used will be required to meet the health standards <br />of their company. <br />H. SPILL CLEANUP AND SECONDARY CONTAINMENT <br />Spill clean-up will be completed on a first priority basis. <br />Equipment: push brooms and hand brooms <br />scoop shovels and dust pans <br />absorbent (superfine) <br />absorbent / decontamination pads <br />plastic ziplock bags <br />5 Gal fiber buckets <br />1. Procedures for Solid Material Spills: <br />a) Alert Site Supervisor. <br />b) Assess the identity of the material spilled. <br />C) Use hand broom and dust pan to collect the spilled material. <br />d) Place the collected original material into the original product container <br />if possible. If not, place the material in a plastic zip -lock bag or 5 Gal <br />bucket and seal. <br />e) Complete the spill clean-up process by using decontaminate pads to <br />wipe remaining residue from the spill area and decontaminate <br />equipment used. Use a clean pad to decontaminate gloves. <br />f) Place used decontaminate pads in a plastic zip -lock bag or 5 Gal. <br />bucket, label, and package with the original material in the labpack <br />drum. <br />g) Record material on drum inventory sheet. <br />2.
