17 March 2020
Project No. 14-3002
BORING ABANDONMENT

All soil borings will be permanently sealed to prevent vertical migration of potential
contaminants. Soil borings shall be abandoned by backfilling with cement grout from the
total depth to surface grade. The top three to six inches of the boring abandonments will
be completed flush to surface grade with native soils or concrete. The SJCEHD will be
notified for grout inspection at least five days prior to conducting grouting procedures.

EQUIPMENT DECONTAMINATION AND WASTE MANAGEMENT

All non-disposable sampling equipment will be triple rinsed in a solution of Alconox prior
to advancement of each boring. Rinseate and soil/waste generated during drilling
activities will be containerized in properly labeled Department of Transportation (DOT)-
approved 55-gallon drums and stored on-site in an area generally lacking public access.
Disposal alternatives will be evaluated at a later date based on laboratory results.

REPORT PREPARATION

Upon completion of the proposed field work and receipt of final laboratory analysis, a site
assessment report will be prepared, summarizing this scope of work. Conclusions,
applicable recommendations, maps, cross-sections and an updated conceptual site
model will be included in the report. The report will be in a format acceptable to
CVRWQCB and will be reviewed and signed by a California Professional Geologist.

If you have any questions or require further information, please contact our office at
(209) 467-1006.

Sincerely,

AdvancedGeo, Inc

________________________________ _______________________________
Brian W.
