Timing: Compliance verified prior to the issuance of building permits. <br /> 26. Locations and Heights of Soundwalls and Berms: The applicant shall construct <br /> soundwalls and berms at the locations shown in Figure 5.11-2 of the Mountain House <br /> Specific Plan 11 Initial Study. Where any openings in soundwalls are proposed for <br /> pedestrian access, "return"walls shall be provided at the openings. These return walls <br /> shall continue along the depths of the adjoining residential yards and shall extend no less <br /> than to the rear yard setback. (This return wall requirement does not apply to"side on" lot <br /> conditions.) The soundwall along Great Valley Parkway and the soundwall along De Anza <br /> Boulevard in Neighborhood H shall be 7 feet in height; and the soundwall along Byron <br /> Road shall be 9 feet in height. Where soundwalls would exceed these height limits, berms <br /> shall be used to reduce the overall soundwall height to said limits as measured from the <br /> arterial street grade to the top of the wall. <br /> Timing: Improvement plans approved by CDD and MHCSD prior to first Final Map <br /> approval. <br /> 27. Construction Noise: The following measure shall be implemented during construction: <br /> • Construction shall be restricted to the hours of 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM on weekdays. <br /> Extended hours which may include Saturdays and Sundays may be allowed through <br /> prior notice to adjacent residents and landowners, and prior approval of the MHCSD <br /> for infrastructure construction and CDD for building permits. <br /> • All internal combustion engines shall be equipped with exhaust mufflers that are in <br /> good condition and appropriate for the equipment. <br /> Timing: Inclusion of the above measures as notes on Improvement Plans approved by <br /> CDD and MHCSD prior to Final Map approval. <br /> GEOLOGY AND SOILS <br /> 28. Seismic Safety: The applicant shall comply with the applicable provisions of the MHCSD <br /> Emergency Preparedness Plan. <br /> Timing: Inclusion of a note on Improvement Plans approved by CDD and MHCSD prior to <br /> approval of Final maps. Geotechnical Investigation Recommendations: The applicant shall follow the <br /> recommendations of the Geotechnical Engineering Study, Neighborhood H, Mountain <br /> House, California, prepared in April of 2004 by Condor Earth Technologies. <br /> Timing: Inclusion of a note on Improvement Plans approved by CDD and MHCSD prior to <br /> approval of Final Maps, and the incorporation of all recommendations of the geotechnical <br /> engineering study into site preparation and construction of each dwelling prior to approval <br /> of building permits.
