Chapter II
WORK PROGRAM
P P P
This section outlines the detailed work program that the IS/MND team will follow. We believe the
proposed work program and schedule are appropriate to the needs and objectives of the County.
However, since this is an interactive project that will require close cooperation with County staff,
we are flexible as to the specifics of the work program. We will work with County staff on the
development of a refined work scope, should this be necessary. We have included a small amount
of time for revisions to the scope of work should this be necessary. The work program outlined in
this proposal is predicated on the following assumptions:
■ County staff would be responsible for public noticing, mailing of environmental documents
and filing the necessary CEQA documents.'
■ The proposed schedule is contingent on timely receipt of comments on the Administrative
Draft IS/MND.
■ We assume that the project will be completed no later than January 30,2007.
■ We assume that the applicant's attorney will prepare the findings necessary to describe why the
1994 Master Plan EIR (a Master EIR)is still valid to use as the basis of this IS/MND though it
is over 5 years old (and findings will be added to IS/MND appendix).
TASK ]. PROJECT INITIATION
A. Start-Up Meeting
We will begin the IS/MND process by meeting with County staff to discuss expectations for the
project,to review the scope of work, and to establish clear lines of communication. At this time,
we will request copies of available technical information.
B. Site Visit
Time for a site visit has been included so that the project team can have access to the site with the
applicant in attendance to point out specific changes in the land use plan.
' We could easily be responsible for printing of the documents and actually prefer to do this. However,we
would request that this be done based on printer costs and not estimated at this time. It is also highly variable based on
the number of documents to be printed.
07/17/06 3
