c. BUSINESS LICENSE: The applicant shall secure an approved Business License <br /> prior to the initiation of the use. (Section 7-1000 of the County Ordinance Code) <br /> d. STORM DRAINAGE: Stormwater drainage shall be retained on-site. The drainage <br /> pattern and corresponding storm drain improvements shall be shown on the Site <br /> Plan. Drainage calculations prepared by a registered civil engineer or architect <br /> shall be included. (Development Title Section 9-1135) <br /> e. PARKING: Off-street parking shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) All parking spaces, driveways, and maneuvering areas shall be surfaced and <br /> permanently maintained with base material of appropriate depth and asphalt <br /> concrete or Portland cement concrete to provide a durable, dust free surface. <br /> Bumper guards shall be provided when necessary to protect adjacent structures <br /> or properties. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[e]) <br /> (2) A minimum of 22 parking spaces shall be provided, including 1 accessible <br /> space, which shall be van accessible. Accessible spaces shall be located as <br /> close as possible to the primary entrance (C.C.R., Title 24). ( .67 spaces are <br /> required for every employee and 2 other) (Development Title Section 9-1015.3) <br /> (3) Each parking stall shall be an unobstructed rectangle, minimum nine (9) feet <br /> wide and twenty (20)feet long. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[b]) <br /> f. LOADING: One (1) loading space shall be provided. Each space shall be a <br /> minimum of 25 feet in length and 15 feet in width, and shall have a minimum height <br /> clearance of 14 feet. On-site driveways and maneuvering areas may be used in <br /> lieu of one of the loading spaces as long as maneuvering areas for delivery vehicles <br /> are provided. (Development Title Section 9-1015.6) <br /> g. ACCESS AND CIRCULATION: The following requirements apply and shall be <br /> shown on the Site Plan: <br /> (1) Access driveways shall have a width of no less than twenty-five(25) feet for two- <br /> way aisles and sixteen (16) feet for one-way aisles, except that in no case shall <br /> driveways designated as fire department access be less than (20) feet wide. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[h]) <br /> h. LIGHTING: Lighting shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) If the parking area is to be used at night, parking lot and security lighting shall <br /> be installed. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g]) <br /> (2) Any lighting shall be designed to confine direct rays to the premises. No <br /> spillover beyond the property lines shall be permitted except onto public <br /> thoroughfares, provided, however, that such light shall not cause a hazard to <br /> motorists. LANDSCAPING: Landscaping shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) Areas of the property which are not part of the project shall be barricaded from <br /> traffic and kept mowed and dust free. <br /> 3 <br />
