Item No. 2
PC: 11-19-92
SU-92-9
Page 2
6. The design of the subdivision or the type of improvement is not likely to cause significant public
health problems.
• This finding can be made because the subdivision design and the Improvements must
meet County standards.
7. The design of the subdivision or the type of improvements will not conflict with easements
acquired by the public at large for access through or use of property within the proposed
subdivision.
• This finding can be made because there are no public easements on this property.
8. Any land or improvement to be dedicated to the County is consistent with the General Plan and
any applicable Specific Plan,Special Purpose Plan, and any other applicable plan adopted by the
Board of Supervisors.
• This finding can be made because all land or Improvements to be dedicated,
including Cal Stop Circle and Cal Court, will meet County requirements.
9. The design of the subdivision provides,to the extent feasible, for future passive or natural heating
or cooling opportunities in the subdivision, as required by Government Code 66473.1.
• This finding can be made because the lots are large enough so that Individual
buildings can be situated to take advantage of solar orientation.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project is a Major Subdivision of 13 acres to create 13 freeway commercial lots ranging in size from
.5 acres to 2.0 acres. Public water, sewage disposal, and drainage are to be provided by County Service
Area (CSA) No.31. Access is provided by Thornton Road, Cal Stop Circle, and Cal Court. No underlying
projects have been proposed. This project is an extension of the Saddle City Freeway Service area
located just south of this site.
