Much of <br /> the acreage allocated to community parks is located <br /> along Mountain House Creek,with major parks sited <br /> just north of the Town Center. Additional community <br /> parks are located south of Central Parkway adjacent to <br /> neighborhood"A"and north of Byron Road adjacent <br /> to the High School and Marina to serve areas more <br /> distant from the Creek and Town Center. Community <br /> parks are intended to provide active recreation <br /> facilities such as athletic fields and complexes, <br /> swimming pools,tennis/racquet courts,and for passive <br /> uses such as picnicking,jogging/walking/bicycle <br /> paths,and nature areas. A portion of acreage An interim sports field community park of 15 acres is <br /> designated for parks may be utilized for community provided by Neighborhood "F". A permanent <br /> Description of facilities such as senior centers,swimming pools, community park will be provided at a later date,per <br /> Planned Land stadiums,or libraries provided overall minimum the Master Plan and Specific Planl. See the tentative <br /> 99 3.2.6.n(8) Uses County park standards are met. N/A map and project description. COA-19 <br /> Regional Park: The 70-acre regional park consists of <br /> a riverfront park along the Old River edge. This <br /> location makes use of the river's open space,wildlife <br /> and scenic values to provide a regional open space and <br /> recreational resource. This linear park extends from <br /> the marina in the northwest to the Westside Irrigation <br /> Description of Canal in the northeast corner of the community,and <br /> Planned Land includes the mouth of Mountain House Creek where it <br /> 100 3.2.6.n(9) Uses joins Old River.
