(2) Fire hydrants shall be supplied in accordance with Appendix III-B of the Uniform Fire <br /> Code. <br /> (3) Fire protection systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California Fire <br /> Code and the appropriate standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of the <br /> California Building Code and the California Electrical Code. <br /> (4) All valves controlling the water supply for automatic fire sprinkler systems and water- <br /> flow switches shall be monitored in accordance with Section 904.3.1 of the California <br /> Fire Code. <br /> (5) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 902.2 of the <br /> California Fire Code and the standards adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire <br /> Chiefs Association. <br /> (6) Fire department access to buildings shall be in accordance with Section 902.4. A <br /> knox box shall be installed according to fire department instructions. <br /> (7) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, Volume <br /> 2, Standard 10-1. <br /> (8) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to <br /> life or property.
