June 1,2005 <br /> NOA Project Number: E05058A <br /> The subject property was observed to be a flat, 387.79-acre piece of land rectangular in shape with <br /> the top half extending approximately 1100 feet farther east than the bottom half.The property and <br /> surrounding land consisted of a recently tilled agricultural field.An agricultural tailwater pond was <br /> observed in the northeastern corner of the subject property. <br /> Surrounding properties were surveyed at the time of the site reconnaissance. Interstate 5 runs along <br /> the western border of the subject property. To the south of the subject property is West Linne <br /> Road.There are three residences on the other side of West Linne road to the south of the subject <br /> property.A large agricultural storage shed was observed to the east of the subject property. <br /> 3.2 Past On-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> No potential above-or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were <br /> identified from past uses of the site, except for the following: <br /> • Agricultural chemicals,including Trifluralin,Methomyl,Chlorpyrifos,Carbofuran,Paraquat, <br /> Permethrin,Metolachlor,Chlorothalonil and EPTC have been applied to the subject <br /> property. All of the named chemicals have been identified as potential groundwater <br /> contaminants. <br /> 3.3 Current On-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> No above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified <br /> from current uses of the site, except for the following: <br /> • Agricultural chemicals continue to be applied on the property. <br /> 3.4 Past Off-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> No above- or below-ground potential or known sources of contamination to the subject property <br /> were identified from past uses of surrounding properties. <br /> 3.5 Current Off-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> No above- or below-ground potential or known sources of contamination to the subject property <br /> were identified from current uses of the surrounding properties. <br /> 12 <br />
