The parcel is bordered to the north by
Rose Clover Lane and to the west by South Reid Avenue. Beyond Rose Clover Lane and
South Reid Avenue, the parcel is bordered to the north (183-360-470), east (183-360-
570), and west (183-360-550) by single- or multi-family residential property and to the
south (183-310-040) by agricultural property. SITE MAP
A plan of the specific site features (i.e., structures, drives, wells, septic systems, large
trees, pastures, etc.) is illustrated in Figure 2.
2.0. PRESENT AND PAST USAGE OF SITE
The property is currently being used for residential purposes and has been since early
2009 when the current residence was constructed. Prior to residential development, the
property was undeveloped and was likely used for light agricultural purposes sometime
prior to 1985. The property is situated approximately 2.5-miles south-southeast of the city
of Linden in the eastern portion of San Joaquin County, California.
2.1 POTENTIAL SITE PROBLEM ASSESSMENT
Water supply for the property is currently provided by the existing onsite domestic water
well. The well is over 100 feet away from the existing septic system. The proposed septic
system will be installed over 100 feet away from the onsite domestic water well and all
surrounding water wells (Figure 2). The development of a residence and new septic
system will not affect water being supplied to the property.
3.0. EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE
The existing septic system includes a residential system located to the north of the
existing residential structure (Figure 2). The septic system is utilized 365 days a year by
the existing three-bedroom house. The existing septic system and leach field extend to
the north of the residence and are located over 100 feet away from the onsite domestic
water well (Figure 2; Appendix B).
