Provide all material, labor, equipment and services necessary for the fabrication,
erection and completion of all structural steel including all bracing and shoring
required for erection, miscellaneous metal and related work.
1.02 DESCRIPTION
A. The Work generally consists of, but not necessarily is limited to, the following:
1. Pipe bridging and connections, bracing, base plates, bolts, joist hangers and stud bolts
welded to structural steel.
2. Miscellaneous structural steel and connections.
3. Supervision of anchor bolt setting and of levels to insure adequate fit of steel work.
4. Shop primer coats, field touch-up coat, galvanizing.
B. Furnished but Installed Elsewhere:
1. Anchor bolts and steel inserts imbedded in concrete or masonry.
2. Fabricated steel items imbedded in concrete or masonry.
C. Related Work Specified Elsewhere:
1. Section 01450: Testing Laboratory Services.
2. Section 03200: Concrete Reinforcing.
3. Section 03300: Cast-In-Place Concrete.
1.03 QUALITY ASSURANCE
A. Reference Standards:
1. "Specifications for the Design, Fabrication and Erection of Structural Steel for
Buildings, of the American Institute of Steel Construction" (AISC).
2.
