Some of these chemicals are highly persistent or have been identified as potential groundwater contaminants. 3.3 Current On-Site Sources of Contamination No above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from current uses of the site, except for the following: • Agricultural chemicals continue to be applied on the property. 3.4 Past Off-Site Sources of Contamination No above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from past uses of the surrounding properties, except for the following: • Surrounding properties have been used for agriculture in the past; agricultural chemicals may have been applied to these properties. • One leaking underground storage tank case was identified within one quarter mile of the subject property. 3.5 Current Off-Site Sources of Contamination No above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from current uses of the surrounding properties, except for the following: • Surrounding properties are used for agriculture; agricultural chemicals may be applied tom these properties. 4.0 EVALUATION OF IDENTIFIED CONTAMINATI :No OU ES Agricultural chemical residues may remain on the prope evid ce was found, however, to indicate that the chemicals were applied inappropriately.
