r ' 3 . SUBDIVISION MAP N( S-84-6 OF BERNARD AND MONUE ETCHEVERRY
(C/O DAVE OLMSTEAD) , for a seven-lot subdivision sated on the
east side of MacArthur Road, 450 ' north of Siesta Court ,
southeast of Tracy. This item was continued from the hearing of
July 19 , 1984 .
Planner Cindi Eliason introduced a staff report into the record.
She said that the second condition of Banta Carbona district had
been changed to read, "The district ' s open irrigation lateral
adjacent to the subdivision is to be fenced at the developer ' s
expense and is to be approved by both Banta Carbona Irrigation
District and the Department of Public Works . " Public Works used
the old numbers for the subdivision ordinance ; these numbers will
have to be changed, but it will have no effect on their recommen-
dations .
Lou Thanas said our recommendation does not include the dedica-
tion of the extension of Etcheverry Drive to the east labeled as
"future roadway" on the tentative subdivision map. He said he
would like to include that extension as part of the dedication.
PUBLIC HEARING OPENED
PROPONENTS
Dave Olmstead was present to represent the applicants . He said
he had areas of concern in regard to the conditions of the staff
report . In reference to page 4 , Item G, of the Public Works con-
ditions, "A terminal drainage system shall be provided, " he said
the applicants wanted the drainage system, but they had no
assurance from the irrigation district that they would take the
water . He wants the opportunity to amend the condition if the
irrigation district chooses to not take the water . Al Blevins of
