All safety signs shall be posted. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br /> #17 Cleanliness of Pool <br />OBSERVATIONS: Spa had minor amounts of black algae and debris in the bottom. Maintain spa clean. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br />in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides, and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean <br />and free of slime and algae. (CCR 65533) <br /> #18 Pool Shell and Tile <br />OBSERVATIONS: Spa shell has heavy pitting and staining. Plan to re-plaster spa in the future. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shells shall be white and have a smooth waterproof interior finish that will withstand repeated brushing, <br />and scrubbing. A spa pool may be finished in a light color other than white when approved by the enforcement agency. (CBC 3108B) <br /> #29 Recirculation System Operation <br />OBSERVATIONS: At the time of the inspection the pump was not running. Operation hours are from 10 am - 8 pm. <br />Recirculation system shall have the capacity to provide complete turnover of the pool water for 8 hours for pools constructed <br />prior to 1982 and 6 hours for all other pools. Ensure that the pump is operating to completely turnover the pool within the <br />required time frame when pool is in service. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Recirculation system shall be in operation whenever the pool is available for use and additional times as <br />needed to maintain clear pool water.
