4. Key Personnel & Responsibilities <br />It is the policy of the CIWMB to provide safe and healthful working conditions for employees <br />when performing field activities. All personnel on-site during the waste characterization <br />investigation are responsible and accountable to adhere to standard safety policies. Responsibilities of the Project Manager/Onsite Project Lead include <br />project scheduling, cost updating, and overall project direction and overseeing site safety. In <br />addition, the Project Manager/Onsite Project Lead is responsible for determining the extent and <br />level of input required for technical issues that arise during the tenure of the project. The <br />CIWMB Project Manager/Onsite Project Lead will serve as the primary point of contact. In the <br />event that the Site Health & Safety Officer is not present at the site the Project Manager/Onsite <br />Project Lead will assume all Health and Safety responsibility of the site. <br />Project Health & Safety Officer <br />The Project Health and Safety Officer will be responsible for review and approval of the Site <br />Health and Safety Plan (SSHSP), and will assist and advise the Site Health and Safety Officer <br />(SHSO).
