Concrete will ultimately be transported to the Munn -Perkins facility <br />on River Road in Escalon for recycling. <br />2.3 Electricity at Site <br />Mr. Palomino proposes to provide electricity to the site via the power pole located along the <br />north property boundary. The electrical service will be extended by the local utility provider, <br />which will allow Mr. Palomino the convenience of electrical service capability where necessary in <br />conducting site remediation activities. <br />3.1 Permits <br />Appropriate permits will be obtained prior to initiating field work: <br />• San Joaquin County Public Works will be notified to obtain an excavation/grading permit ifs <br />required. <br />• The local Air Pollution Control District (APCD) will be consulted to determine if specific <br />permits are required from the APCD. <br />3.2 Dust Control <br />Dust will be controlled through regular application of water using a spray nozzle or water truck, <br />as needed. If the spray nozzle or water truck is deemed inadequate, then a mister such as a power <br />washer will be utilized at the site. Mr. Palomino expects to prewet the work zone 1-2 days prior <br />to conducting earthmoving activities in a given area to minimize dust issues. <br />3.3 Lead Enforcement Agency Notifications and Inspections <br />EHD will be notified at least 48 hours prior to the beginning any particular phase of work at the <br />subject site to allow for any inspections deemed necessary by EHD. A letter will be submitted to <br />EHD as needed to summarize activities conucted at the site. <br />3.4 Employee Safety Training <br />Mr. Palomino will act as site safety officer. Mr. Palomino has successfully completed the 40 -hour <br />HAZWOPER training required under 29 CFR Part 1910.120 and CCR Title 8, Section 5192. <br />Mr. Palomino will be equipped with Level D personal protective equipment (PPE), including <br />hard hats, steel -toed footwear, hearing protection, and work gloves, as necessary. <br />All site work will be conducted pursuant to Site Safety Procedures previously submitted to EHD. <br />The designated hospital/urgent care center to be used by site workers is Oak Valley Hospital, <br />located at 350 South Oak Avenue, Oakdale, California 95361, (209-847-3011). <br />G:\GROUNDZE\Palomino\wp_parce114.doc <br />
