The results are <br /> as follows: 48 parts per million(ppm) on 11/16/05, and 46.1 ppm on 11/21/05. The average of <br /> these sampling events is 47.45 ppm. The maximum contaminant level (MCL) established for <br /> nitrate in the California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 22, Section 64431 (a), is 45 ppm. <br /> French Camp Golf and RV Water System has exceeded the MCL for nitrates and is in violation <br /> of CCR, Title 22,Section 64431 (a). French Camp Golf and RV Water System is hereby ordered <br /> to do the following: <br /> 1. Provide approved bottled or bulk drinking water for food preparation and for employee <br /> and customer drinking purposes. Provide receipts of the purchased water to EHD every <br /> quarter. <br /> 2. Conduct public notification immediately as required by CCR, Title 22, Section 64464.3 <br /> (a)(1)(b)(2) for exceeding the MCL for nitrates. The public notification with the required ' <br /> health language has been enclosed for the operator of the water system to post once the <br /> operator has signed and dated the document. The notification shall be posted according <br /> to the California Health and Safety Code, Section 116450 by continual posting for as <br /> long as the MCL violation exists in areas of water usage, such as at each bathroom, <br /> kitchen sink, and drinking faucet. Provide EHD a copy of the signed Public Notification <br /> by December 30 2005 as evidence that the French Camp Golf and RV Water System has <br /> complied with the required public notification. <br /> 3. Submit in writing to EHD a Compliance Agreement by January 9, 2006 that states <br /> which of the following options will be taken and the date the correction will be <br /> accomplished to provide water that meets CCR, Title 22 requirements: <br />
