ask <br /> 0 <br /> S. Ninety (90) days prior to discontinuing the use of this <br /> site for waste disposal , the discharger shall submit a <br /> technical report to the Board describing the methods and <br /> controls to be used to assure protection of the quality <br /> of surface and ground waters of the area during final, <br /> operations and with any propo:�ed subsequent use of the <br /> land. This report shall be prepared by or under the <br /> supervision of a registered engineer or a certified <br /> engineering geologist. The method used to close the site <br /> and maintain protection of the quality of surface and <br /> ground waters shall comply with the waste discharge re- <br /> quirements established by -the Board. <br /> 9. This Board considers the property owner to have a con- <br /> tinuing responsibility for correcting any problems which <br /> may arise in the future as a result of this waste dis- <br /> charge or water Applied to this property during sub- <br /> sequent use of the land for other purposes . <br /> 10. In the event of any change in control or ownership of <br /> this treatment and disposal system, the discharger shall <br /> notify this Board of such change and notify the succeed- <br /> ing owner or operator of the existence of this order . <br /> 11 . The Board will. review this order periodically and may <br /> revise the requirements when necessary. <br /> 12. The discharger shall follow the recommendations for con- <br /> struction, operation, and maintenance contained in the <br /> consulting engineer' s project report dated _�uly, 1972. <br /> This shall include placement of a two foot thick clay <br /> liner compacted to a permeability of 10-8 cm/sec or <br /> underlying the pesticide washwater evaporation <br /> pond and 1p.4 <br /> ps . PQ=eable zones <br /> or zones of perched water encountered in perimeter <br /> slopes shall- be sealed by placing a two foot soil liner <br /> of 10-6 cm/sec permeability or less. <br /> I , James A.
