Please <br />refer to the job sheet for specific tasks. The possible activities to be undertaken by Clear <br />Heart Drilling on the site may include the following: <br />i <br />1. ;Drilling exploratory borings <br />2. '',Collecting soil and groundwater samples <br />I <br />3. Installing groundwater monitoring wells <br />4. Destroying wells or borings j <br />5. (Repairing kristy boxes <br />I <br />3.2 POTENTIAL PHYSICAL HAZARDS <br />Operating Equipment and Street Hazards <br />Field personnel should be cognizant of potential physical hazards associated with use of <br />heavy equipment and electrical equipment during field operations. Appropriate <br />precautions including the following will be taken: <br />• Hardhats, safety glasses, and steel -toe boots will be worn at all times. <br />• Coveralls will be worn; Tyvex coveralls will be available, if site conditions' <br />determine they are to be used. No jackets, sweatshirts or other clothing will be <br />put on over coveralls or Tyvex. <br />• Gloves will be worn when handling heavy equipment and samples. <br />• On-site personnel who operate or are within 10 feet of operating gasoline or <br />diesel powered equipment will wear approved hearing protection to limit <br />unnecessary exposure to hazardous noise. <br />• A first aid kit will be available at the job site. <br />
