Soil Suitability /Nitrate Loading Study Irerracon
ALL STAR HEAVY HAUL & TOWING INCORPORATED Tracy, California
July 1, 2022 Terracon Project No. NA217024
Based on a review of the site plan, Capay clay is located on the majority of the site and Septic
System 1 is anticipated to be located within this soil type. Capay clay consists of soils with 0 to 1
percent slopes. Parent material consists of clayey alluvium derived from sedimentary rock
sources Typical soil profiles consist of 60 inches clay.
Permeability and runoff are slow for Capay clay. The main limitations for that soil type is low
available water capacity and high-water table and perching. The soil is subject to flooding during
high precipitation.
1.5.1 Soil Boring Locations
Based on a review of the site plan, the proposed Septic System will be located east of existing
warehouse (Exhibit 2). Three percolation test borings B1, B2, and B3 were advanced in the vicinity
of the proposed septic tank.
Table 5.
Soil Boring Information
Percolation Test
Depth (Feet)
Latitude
Longitude
B1
(Soil profile)
23.4
37.7115228
-121.5148364
B2
9.00
37.7114756
-121.5148465
B3
3.32
37.7114278
-121.5148612
1.5.2 Soil Boring Dimensions
Three borings were advanced using a 6 -inch hollow stem auger.
