4. Once in the sallyport, the custodies shall be loaded into the Sheriff's van and either moved to a <br /> place of safety or taken back to the San Joaquin County Jail. <br /> 5. If items#3 and#4 are unavailable due to the fire,evacuation of the custodies shall be via the <br /> safest route possible. Safety of the custodies shall be paramount. <br /> ADDITIONAL POLICIES <br /> VISITORS <br /> No private person visits will be allowed. An exception to this will be visits ordered by the judge. If a visit <br /> is ordered, the visitor will be searched prior the allowing the visit to occur. No hand bags,briefcases, etc. <br /> will be allowed in a visiting area. The only exception will be the prisoner's attorney. <br /> The private person visitors will not be allowed in the same space as a prisoner. This prevents any injury <br /> from occurring or contraband from being passed. <br /> Any visitation shall be approved by the sergeant. <br /> SMOKING <br /> Smoking is not allowed in the facility. All prisoners shall be searched for cigarettes and matches, or other <br /> contraband,prior to leaving the main jail. Prisoners should have only their court papers in the possession. <br /> 9 <br />
