Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan <br /> The Home Depot Store#1022 <br /> assemble at the designated meeting area. Customers, suppliers, vendors, and any other individuals will be <br /> alerted to evacuate the building using the nearest safe exit. <br /> 9.5 Termination and Follow-Up Actions <br /> Once the incident is fully under control, the Emergency Coordinator will follow appropriate clean-up and disposal <br /> measures provided by the HHM Program or by Verisk 3E, direct appropriate clean-up and disposal measures or <br /> contract Verisk 3E to do so. The Emergency Coordinator, following instructions of the HHM Program or Verisk <br /> 3E, must also provide for storing, or disposing of recovered waste, contaminated soil or surface water, or any <br /> other material that results from a release, fire, or explosion at the Store. <br /> The Emergency Coordinator must also ensure that emergency response equipment listed in the Plan is cleaned <br /> and ready for its intended use before Store operations resume. Emergency response equipment will be <br /> inventoried, and any necessary replacement equipment will be obtained. <br /> 9.6 Written Reports <br /> Within 15 days after an incident that requires implementation of the contingency plan, a written report on the <br /> incident will be submitted to the EPA Regional Administrator and the Department of Toxic Substances Control <br /> (DTSC). The report will include: <br /> • Name, address, and telephone number of the Site and owner/operator; <br /> • Date, time, and type of incident(e.g., fire, explosion); <br /> • Name and quantity of material(s) involved; <br /> • The extent of injuries, if any; <br /> • An assessment of actual or potential hazards to human health or the environment, where applicable; and, <br /> • Estimated quantity and disposition of recovered material that resulted from the incident. <br /> www.arcadis.com <br /> 15 <br />
