Ensure all hazardous waste has been <br /> Supervisors processed through the HHMA system <br /> immediately and not staged in shopping <br /> carts/totes. <br /> • Updating the Operations ASM as HHM issues <br /> arise. <br /> • Preparing for waste pick-ups <br /> • Managing the HHM Programs Binder <br /> • Ordering of HHM supplies as needed on <br /> eBuy/Ariba <br /> Manager on Duty • When the Receiving Associate is not on duty, <br /> emptying the red metal cans in D24 and D26 <br /> daily <br /> • When the Receiving Associate is not on duty <br /> completing the HHM Checklist <br /> • Ensuring any necessary corrective actions are <br /> immediately taken and fully completed <br /> • When the Store Manager is not on duty, <br /> reviewing checking completion, and signing the <br /> HHM Checklist <br /> • When the Store Manager is not on duty, <br /> verifying the waste transporter picks up wastes, <br /> initial hazardous waste manifests and <br /> associated shipping papers are completed, <br /> signed, and copies filed in the HHM Records <br /> Binder <br /> Designated HHM • Responding to a call of spilled product <br /> Associates • Evaluating the scene to implement necessary <br /> emergency steps, such as isolation of the spill <br /> area and evacuation, if needed <br /> • Managing spill cleanup and storage process <br /> using the HHMA system or by calling 3E for <br /> instructions on spill cleanup, personal <br /> protection equipment (PPE), container color, <br /> completion and affixing of the waste label, and <br /> proper storage in the CSA <br /> • Ensuring all HHM containers personally <br /> managed have been properly labeled <br /> • Determining when the spill area is safe to re- <br /> enter <br /> • Managing proper disposal of hazardous waste <br /> (non-spill related)generated through Returns, <br /> non-sellable/damaged product, and store <br /> processes <br /> • Completing the HHM Checklist (Store <br /> Managers, ASMs, DSs only) <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br />
