Went to the women's restroom. I did not detect the odor described by the complainant. The floor was
observed to be dry. The restroom has two enclosed stalls. Each toilet's flushing mechanisms are fully functional and no
leakage observed. I met with assistant manager Nancy Lopez. Nancy was not aware of the complaint made to EHD but was
aware of an incident that caused an odor a few days ago. She could not recall the exact date of the incident but it was a few
days ago. Nancy stated that a customer complained about a clogged toilet. The employees went to investigate and attempted
to unclog it, but could not. Nancy reported that no water spilled out of the toilet during the attempts to unclog it. The
temporarily closed the stall. Contractors Towers Inc were retained to repair the issue. They found an shirt had been flushed
down the toilet. The toilet was repaired. Per Nancy, the facility has many issues involving the homeless, and believes this
incident was caused by a homeless person. Nancy stated the bathroom was sanitized after the toilet was restored and
bathroom reopened. Emailed the complaint inspection report to the facility.
The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and
Safety Code. If a reinspection is required, fees will be assessed at the current hourly rate.
Received by: Name and Title:
EH Specialist: CLAUDIA MURO Phone: (209) 561-8923
FA0003051 C00054525 SC004 12/23/2021
EHD 16-23 Rev. 01/07/2021 Page 1 of 1 Complaint Inspection Report
1868 E.
