Observed an empty pink plastic bag tied to the pipe inside the MURO <br />display cooler. No active leaking was observed coming from the bag onto the <br />meat. The assistant manager, Agustin Hernandez, was unaware of the alleged <br />complaint or of the pink bag tied to the equipment. Agustin asked all meat <br />department employees if they had seen any liquid leaking onto the meat and why <br />the bag was tied to the equipment. The employees were also unaware of the <br />alleged leaking and why the bag was placed there. <br />Observed condensation forming inside on the stainless steel cooling equipment <br />over the meat. I did not observe any leakage onto the meat. Assistant manager <br />was told that cooling equipment should not have a formation of condensation. The <br />repair or replacement of the cooling unit is to be completed within seven days. <br />Agustin began making phone calls to schedule repair of the unit during the <br />inspection. <br />Inspection report was emailed to store manager at <br />JLinares@lasuperiorfoods.com. <br />Date Abated; Abated By: <br />5105.rpt <br /> Page 1 of 1
