5.3 Description of soil lithology as noted from test pit by appropriate professional using industry standard protocol. The Soil in this area is classified as 220 — Redding Garvelly loam, 236 — San Joaquin County Sandy loam, and 237 — San Joaquin County Sandy loam as stated in the soil survey of San Joaquin County as provided by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) soil conservation service (see appendix). 5.4 Discussion of soil lithology as related to future onsite septic uses: The 236 — San Joaquin County Sandy loam, 220 — Redding Gravelly loam, and 237 — San Joaquin County Sandy loam has a permeability that is very slow. 6.0 PERCOLATION TEST INFORMATION SECTION 6.1 Site map showing the location, with concise and accurate dimensions of the percolation test holes on the parcel: See Appendix. 6.2 The minimum number of shallow and deep percolation tests were performed for each parcel: Five shallow percolation test holes were prepared on the parcel. 6.3 Description of the date, time and protocol used to prepare the test hole, including depth and dimensions of hole, preparation of hole, and depth of water used to presoak (minimum 12 inches): The shallow test hole for test hole #1 was excavated to a depth of 18 inches, test hole #2 was excavated to a depth of 30 inches, test hole #3 was excavated to a depth of 30 inches, test hole #4 was excavated to a depth of 18 inches, test hole #5 was excavated to a depth of 18 inches. All holes are 12 inches in diameter, backfilled with 2 inches of "Pea gravel" in accordance with County Standards. The shallow holes were prepared by staff of Dillon & Murphy on August 11, 2022. The 24 hour presoak period for test holes #1-5 was started on August 11, 2022 at between 7:30 and 7:40 am. The holes were filled with 12 inches of water over the gravel at this time. 6.4 Description of the date, time and condition of the test hole after the 24-hour soak period (hole still intact, hole dry, preparation of hole, and depth of water used to presoak (minimum 12 inches): The shallow test hole for the hole #1-5 was dry on August 12, 2022 prior to commencing any testing. The test started from 7:30 to 7:40 am. Six inches of water was added to the holes and the holes were deemed suitable to continue. The shallow tests passed the minimum county requirements. 6.5 The test conformed to SJC Policy EH 02-02 (correct depth, diameter, 2" gravel, 6" water refill, correct readings recorded). The percolation tests conformed to San Joaquin County Policy EHD 02-02. 6.6 Complete Percolation Test Form (including readings) was provided with REHS verification signature. The rate was correctly calculated using the last reading. See Appendix for Test Results Form. 3
