Part A — PROJECT/TASK INFORMATION Project/Site Name: GSH OxyChem-Stockton Project Number/Org.: TR0712/8135 Site Address: 1904 West Charter Way,Stockton,California Task&Worksite Installation of Dual-Nested Soil Vapor Probes at Off-Site Location Description: A set of dual-nested soil vapor probes(SVPs)will be installed in a single borehole of ten-feet depth at the work site (located in the sidewalk adjacent to the residences at 1925 and 1917 Old Spanish Drive in Stockton).Prior to start of field work,Geosyntec will notify USA811 and will also contract a private utility locator to pre-clear the drilling location, which is planned to be in the City of Stockton's sidewalk(i.e.,right of way). The borehole for the SVPs will be advanced using hand auger only. Cuttings will be visually logged by Geosyntec staff,and undisturbed samples will be collected from 4.5-to 5-feet below ground surface(ft bgs)and from 9.5-to 10-ft logs using a slide hammer and metal sleeves. Once terminal depth is reached,the SVPs will be installed per the Addendum to the Work Plan for Vapor Intrusion Investigation. All field work will be performed under Geosyntec supervision and Geosyntec staff will perform air monitoring during all intrusive subsurface work. Drill cuttings produced during drilling will be collected during the advancement of the boreholes and will be containerized in new 55-gallon steel drums for off-site disposal.All water generated by equipment decontamination will be containerized in new 55-gallon site drums for off-site disposal. NOTE:As per Oxy Stop Work Authority Mandate:"Every Oxy employee and contractor has the right,obligation, and responsibility to stop any unsafe work without repercussion."
