4.0 SITE DESCRIPTION <br />A description of the location and characteristics of the Site and the surrounding area is presented <br />in the following subsections. <br />4.1 SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION <br />Site Location: The addresses associated with the Site (residences) are 20329 and <br />20333 South Airport Way in Manteca, California. The Site is located <br />at the southwestern corner of the intersection of South Airport Way <br />and Woodward Avenue. <br />Assessor's Parcel Nos.: San Joaquin County Assessors: 241-32-180. <br />Key Contact: Mr. Steve Miller. <br />4.2 SITE AND VICINITY CHARACTERISTICS <br />General Property Type and Use <br />At the time of the Site reconnaissance (September 7, 2022) the two residences at the Site were <br />occupied by renters and the majority of the Site was covered in what appeared to be recently <br />harvested corn. The Site is bound on the north by Woodward Avenue and on the east by South <br />Airport Avenue. <br />General Type and Use of Surrounding Areas <br />Land use in the general vicinity of the Site as observed during CAC's site reconnaissance is a <br />combination farms and single-family homes. <br />Site Size <br />According to information obtained from the San Joaquin County Assessor's Office and Signature <br />Homes, the Site is 156.79 acres in area. <br />Buildings on Site <br />At the time of the site reconnaissance, the Site was occupied by two small single-family homes <br />and two small sheds or shacks. <br />Construction Dates <br />Based on a review of historic records (aerial photographs, historic maps, building department <br />records and interviews), The structures were constructed as early as 1937. <br />Tenants <br />At the time of CAC's reconnaissance, the only tenants were two residential tenants in each of the <br />homes. The Site is owned by and operated (farmed) by members of the Machado family. <br />4-1 <br />
