landfill site is G/A (General/Agricultural), and the zoning is AG-40 (General/Agricultural, <br /> 40-acre minimum lot size). The landfill is considered a major impact facility and is operated <br /> conditionally in the AG-40 zone. <br /> Adjacent land uses include agricultural lands to the east, west, and south. The Northern <br /> California Youth Center, a criminal detention facility, is located approximately 1,900 feet <br /> from the existing Austin Road Landfill and approximately 300 feet north of the soil borrow <br /> area. A women's prison is also located north of the site. The Stockton Metropolitan <br /> Airport is approximately 7,500 feet west of the existing Austin Road Landfill. The <br /> Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Intermodal Facility, a 470-acre train/truck cargo transfer <br /> and storage facility is located approximately one mile northeast of the site, along the <br /> Burlington Northern and Santa Fe railroad main line. <br /> As shown on Figure 4, there are three residences located near the site. The residence at <br /> 9690 Austin Road is approximately 500 feet from the landfill and is located across Austin <br /> Road from the entrance facilities area.
