Weston Solutions, Inc.
Remedial Action Work Plan for the San Joaquin County Human Services Agency Site—Stockton, California
PROPOSED IMPLEMENTATION PLAN
lines are shallow and can be located/avoided using utility surveys, and hand-clearing to 5 feet
bgs.
The fiber optic line is deep and may not be identified using geophysical surveys or hand
clearing to 5 feet bgs. A field meeting with the owner of the fiber optic utility line identified
on the dig ticket will be scheduled to get a better understanding of the location of this utility
line and to evaluate additional safety precautions (as appropriate).
6.4 SITE PREPARATION
Traffic control measures will be implemented during remedial action implementation to
provide for safe and efficient movement of traffic around the construction area while
reasonably protecting construction workers and equipment. A Traffic Control Plan detailing
all temporary traffic control measures at the Site will be included in the HASP.
Personnel and equipment decontamination stations will be established prior to the start of field
activities for minimizing the spread of contamination from the contaminated work areas. The
waste generated as part of decontamination operations will be managed as summarized in
Section 6.8.
6.5 TREATMENT AMENDMENT
BOS 200® reagent will be injected into groundwater for in-situ remediation of petroleum
hydrocarbons in the vicinity of well MW-2. The BOS 200 product includes powdered activated
carbon medium along with micro and macro nutrients, terminal electron acceptors such as
nitrate and sulfate, and a blend of facultative microorganisms that are designed to function in
both aerobic and anaerobic environments. The activated carbon in the BOS 200 is designed to
trap or adsorb petroleum hydrocarbons, and ingredients such as bacterial cultures and terminal
electron acceptors are designed to facilitate biodegradation of these trapped hydrocarbons.
6.6 TREATMENT AMENDMENT INJECTION
BOS 200 treatment amendment will be injected into 10 points distributed in a triangular grid
with spacing of approximately 6 feet, centered on well MW-2 (see Figure 6-1). A relatively
6-2 Febraary 2021
