Weston Solutions, Inc. <br /> Remedial Action Work Plan for the San Joaquin County Human Services Agency Site—Stockton, California <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> 1.1 SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION <br /> The HSA building occupies the majority of the city block bounded by Market, Washington, <br /> San Joaquin, and South Sutter Streets in downtown Stockton, California. A former gasoline <br /> service station operated at the corner of Washington and South Sutter streets prior to the <br /> construction of the HSA building in the late 1980s. The Site address is 145 South Sutter Street, <br /> and the geographic coordinates are 37° 57' 05.4"North Latitude, 121° 17' 08.2" West Latitude <br /> (Figure 1-1). <br /> The Site is bounded to the west and north by the HSA building, to the south by Washington <br /> Street and a parking lot beneath Highway 4, and to the east by South Sutter Street, a parking <br /> garage, and a vacant building formerly used as a restaurant. Seven groundwater monitoring <br /> wells and two soil vapor wells are present at the Site or in the immediate vicinity(Figure 1-2). <br /> 1-2 Febraary 2021 <br />
