Additional Site Assessment Work Plan
LOPEZ PROPERTY
1601 Turnpike Road, Stockton, California

1.0. INTRODUCTION

AdvancedGeo, Inc. (AGI) has prepared this Additional Site Assessment Work Plan for the
property located at 1601 Turnpike Road, Stockton, California (site or subject property).
The scope of work includes advancing one soil boring to the northeast of CPT-3 to collect
intermediate and deep groundwater samples for final plume delineation. This work plan
was prepared as directed by Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board
(CVRWQCB) letter dated 11 May 2022 and comments provided during the Joint
Execution Team (JET) meeting held on 07 July 2022 (Appendix A). The site and
surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1. Historical boring and well locations are
depicted in Figure 2. The proposed soil boring location is illustrated in Figure 3.

2.0. SCOPE OF WORK

Based on data collected during the October 2021 cone penetration testing (CPT)
investigation performed at the site, petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted groundwater is
vertically delineated to the east by borings CPT-4 and CPT-5. However, the impacted
groundwater plume was not vertically delineated to the northeast in the location of CPT-3.
Deep groundwater samples could not be collected from CPT-3 due to refusal encountered
between 75 and 78 feet below surface grade (bsg).

To complete groundwater plume delineation to the northeast, AGI proposes to advance
one (1) set of CPT soil borings to collect grab groundwater samples from the intermediate
and deep-water bearing zone for plume definition (i.e., 60 to 75 feet and from 100 to 120
feet). The soil borings will be advanced approximately 25 to 30 feet northeast of CPT-3
(Figure 3).

2.1. PRE-FIELD WORK ACTIVITIES

Applicable site assessment permits will be obtained from the San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD). In addition, a health and safety plan will be
updated in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Guidance Manual for
Hazardous Waste Site Activities (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health
Administration, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, 1985).
Prior to mobilization, the proposed boring locations will be clearly marked, and a utility
clearance obtained through Underground Service Alert.

2.2. SOIL BORINGS AND SAMPLING

AGI proposes to advance one (1) set of CPT soil borings utilizing a 25-ton truck-mounted
CPT drill rig equipped with 2-inch diameter hollow-stem rods. AGI proposes to advance
