SAN J O A Q U I N Environmental Health Department <br /> COUNTY <br /> • A current California UST Service Technician certificate issued by the ICC <br /> • A valid , current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component (s) being <br /> tested , or the developer of the testing equipment or test method ( s) being used <br /> 6 . Individuals working under the direct supervision of a qualified UST installer or UST service <br /> technician must , at a minimum , be employed by the person with the CSLB license and possess <br /> all manufacturer certificates of training for the equipment on which they are working . <br /> 7 . The tank owner or operator shall log into the California Environmental Reporting System <br /> ( CERS ) at http : //cers , calepa . ca , gov/ and ensure all UST information is current . <br /> 8 . The tank owner or operator shall log into CERS and complete and submit a UST Certification of <br /> Installation/Modification for the repair within 30 days . <br /> 9 . All primary containment including any integral secondary containment must be certified by an <br /> independent testing organization and labeled as required by the organization ( UL , ULC , ANSI , <br /> API , ASTM , etc . ) . See California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 23 , Chapter 16 , Table B for <br /> a complete list . <br /> 10 . All secondary containment system which is not an integral part of the primary containment shall <br /> be designed and constructed according to an engineering specification approved by a state <br /> registered professional engineer or according to a nationally recognized industry code or <br /> engineering standard , per CCR 2631 (d ) . <br /> 11 . This permit expires 180 days from the date of approval .
