< Job Order Field
2254140-1
Jones Covey Group,Inc.
9595 Lucas Ranch Rd. Posted
Rancho Cucamonga,CA 91730
888-972-7581
Tank we started transferring unleaded fuel from T1-87A and T2-87B to T3-87C. Spoke with Giovanni yesterday 8/27/22
regarding the 91 turbines still needing to be wired up and he said that Preciado Electric will wire them in on Monday 8/29/22.
We began purging via purge carts on dispensers that were working associated with T1-87A and T2-87B. Hook signals from
87 grade would turn on 91 premium tank and 91 grade would turn on 87 tank for dispensers 3/4,5/6,17/18 and 23/24. We
switched hook signal wires temporarily inside dispenser so that we could purge the 87 grade at this time from those affected
dispensers. We purged until techs left the site. All impact valves were closed, breakers shut off and keys placed in a secure
location.
08/29 Arrived on site and checked in with Roberto from construction. Preciado Electric was on site today to test sensors and
also address any electrical issues. They were able to correct all hook signal wiring issues and they wired up the 91 Turbine
motors. PLLD (PN#859080-001)was needed for 91 Tank so one was used from Shawn's truck stock#168. While the wiring
issues were being addressed testers assisted with installing hanging hardware retractors and adjusted all new dispenser
cradle positions. When electricians were finished we continued purging T1-87A, T2-87B, and T3-87C. We tested T1-87A and
T2-87B PLLD's using the VMI test box and both passed multiple Line Leak Detector 3.Ogph tests. Purging continued for
T3-87C and the 91 Tank via purge hoses and purge carts. T3-87C and 91 tank PLLD's were tested using the VMI test box
and both passed multiple Line Leak Detector 3.Ogph tests at end of day. Remaining Additive PLLD still needs to be tested
tomorrow 8/30/22 after construction finishes installation of piping and additive box. All impact valves were closed, breakers
turned off and keys placed in a secure location before leaving.
08/30 Arrived on site and checking in with construction and superintendent Joe. Third party company All-Tech and San
Joaquin County inspector were on site to complete AMC testing. We assisted with 91 vacuum sensors so that they could be
tested for functionality by All-Tech. We pulled vacuum manually and "No Vacuum"alarms cleared. All-Tech tested all PLLDs
except Additive PLLD and had no issues getting them to pass. Once construction had additive lines completed we began
purging for approximately 1 hour. After purging All-Tech tested the Additive PLLD and had no issues getting it to pass.We
then moved on to calibrating each grade on all fueling points. All fueling points were pumping at this time and were calibrated
to 0. All fuel was returned to the tanks. After calibrations were completed we replaced filters at each dispenser for all grades.
Calibration report/placed in service form was completed and submitted. While on site today Service Tech James Blane was
troubleshooting Healy motors running issues that affected several dispensers. Parts were ordered and he is to return to fix the
issues tomorrow 8/31/22. Before testers left the site we cleaned up our work area, shut off all impact valves and turned off
breakers.
09/02 Arrived on site and checked in with site attendants and superintendent Joe. Site attendants had dispenser 11/12 and
17/18 coned off upon my arrival. Spoke to attendants and they said calibrations were off for both dispensers and that also
Fueling Point 9 for Premium would dispense fuel but not register on the top sale screen of the dispenser. I proceeded by first
checking the calibrations for 11/12 and found 91 Grade on FP12 to be-6 and to out of range. I recalibrated that grade to 0
and checked to make sure calibration was corrected. All other grades were within range and no further issues were found for
that dispenser. I then moved on to Dispenser 17/18 and found that 87 grade for both fueling points would not dispense fuel.
No meter creep or jump would occur. Healy Motor operated normally and 87 impact valves were open. I tried rebooting the
dispenser by power cycling dispenser but issue still remained. We will need a certified Service Technician to address this
issue. I found 91 grade to be off of calibration for both fueling points so 91 for FP17 and FP18 were recalibrated to 0 and
checked for accuracy. Proceeded by inspecting Fueling Point 9 for issues relating to 91 grade only. I found the coil on the
Proportional Valve to be loose and have excessive play. I removed power from the dispenser and tightened the nut that
retained the coil onto the proportional valve. I restored power and tried to pump. FP9 is pumping at this time and registering
on upper sale screen. I checked 91 calibrations for both sides and found that they were within range.
Will need a Gilbarco certified Service Technician to troubleshoot no fuel for 87 grade FP17 and FP18. This pump is one of the
new dispensers and my be a warranty call. Please dispatch.
09/14 Arrived on, checked in with the Kiosk attendant as well as Joe (JCG). Proceeded to remove the Drop Tubes to check
the measurements/math for the 95% Overfill.ALL Drop Tubes were correct. Put Drop Tubes back and torqued components.
• Conducted TP-201.3 (@ 10"W.C.to search for leaks):
- Found that the Drop Tube Gasket in 87-T2 was leaking and required adjusting.
- Found the following leaks in the UDC' and corrected:
