COMPLAINANT STATE THE FISH WAS DRY AND <br /> HARD LIKE A POTATO CHIP. COMPLAINANT ALSO STATS THAT AFTER APPROXIMATELY 30 MIN. SHE BEGAN <br /> VOMITING AND HAVING DIARRHEA FOR THE REST OF THE DAY. COMPLAINANT STATES SYMPTOMS HAVE <br /> SUBSIDED EXCEPT FOR AN UPSET STOMACH. COMPLAINANT ALSO STATES SHE DID NO SEE A DOCTOR. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #1 Demonstration of Knowledge <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed expired food manager certificate posted. Provide current food manager certificate within 1 <br /> month and email certificate to dafonskaia@sjgov.org <br /> Some food handler cards were not available during the inspection. Provide food handler cards within 2 weeks. <br /> Maintain records on site. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:All food employees shall have adequate knowledge of and be trained in food safety as it relates to their <br /> assigned duties. (113947)Food facilities that prepare,handle or serve non-prepackaged potentially hazardous food,shall have an <br /> employee who has passed an approved food safety certification examination. (113947-113947.1)Any food handler hired after June 1, <br /> 2011 shall obtain a Food Handler Card within 30 days(113948). <br /> #14 Food Contact Surfaces Sanitized or Warewashing Sanitization <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed sanitizer bucket at the front counter that contained pinesol per manager, it did not have any <br /> chlorine. There was also pinesol and 100 ppm chlorine at the sanitizer bucket near the kitchen hand sink. Both buckets had <br /> wiping cloths in it. Per manager the bucket in the kitchen was used to only for the floor. Discontinue practice of using pinesol <br /> to sanitize food contact surfaces, do not store wiping cloths meant to wipe counter and other food contact surfaces in <br /> buckets with pinesol or other chemicals not approved for food contact surfaces. Provide sanitizing solution with approved <br /> sanitizer such as bleach that is at least 100 ppm chlorine or quaternary ammonia that is at least 200 ppm quat. Corrected on <br /> site, sanitizer bucket was provided with 100 ppm chlorine and no pinesol at front counter. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:All food contact surfaces of utensils and equipment shall be clean and sanitized.
