Hazelton Ave. <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> RE: CUPA Inspection Report <br /> Home Depot DC #5363 <br /> 18300 S Harlan Blvd. <br /> Lathrop, CA 95330 <br /> Dear Mr. Garrett Backus: <br /> This letter is being provided on behalf of The Home Depot U.S.A., Inc.'s Lathrop DC#5363 ("The Home Depot") <br /> and in response to the CUPA Inspection Report issued on December 22, 2022. The Home Depot has reviewed <br /> the CUPA Inspection Report and provides the following information in response to the alleged violations: <br /> 1. No modified contingency plan. The hazardous waste contingency plan reviewed during the <br /> inspection had out-of-date emergency coordinators Malcolm Robinson and Melissa Prater. <br /> RESPONSE: DC#5363 has modified its contingency plan to include the current emergency <br /> coordinators. The updated HMBP, including contingency plan, is enclosed for your review. <br /> 2. Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. Designated <br /> facility signed and dated copies of Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifests (UHWM)were not found <br /> on-site. <br /> RESPONSE: DC#5363 had access to its final signed manifests at the time of the inspection through a <br /> database on The Home Depot's intranet system. Database access has been reviewed with management <br /> to ensure accessibility during future inspections. <br /> 3. Failed to electronically submit hazardous materials inventory for all reportable materials on site. <br /> RESPONSE: The Home Depot submitted the updated hazardous materials inventory on 1/27/2023. The <br /> updated HMBP is enclosed for your review. <br /> 4. Failed to electronically submit a site map with all required content. <br /> RESPONSE: The Home Depot electronically submitted an updated site map with all required content on <br /> 1/27/2023. The updated HMBP is enclosed for your review. <br />
