I'll try calling again Monday to follow <br /> up. <br /> Summary <br /> February 23, 2022-SJCEHD inspected the Valley Pacific facility located on Frank West Circle for Hazardous Waste (HW) <br /> and APSA compliance. Inspection reports were received via email later that day <br /> February 24, 2022-SJCEHD notified Valley Pacific via email that the report will be revised to include more details in the <br /> existing violations <br /> March 1, 2022 - SJCEHD emailed an amended HW inspection report <br /> March 2, 2022 - SJCEHD notified Valley Pacific via email that SJCEHD is looking into the potential tank in an underground <br /> area (TIUGA) and will reach out to Valley Pacific with more information. <br /> March 30, 2022 -Valley Pacific emailed completed RTC documentation for both HW and APSA programs. <br /> April 5, 2022 -Valley Pacific followed up via email with SJCEHD to see if any further action was required. SJCEHD <br /> confirmed no further requests at this time <br /> May 9, 2022-Valley Pacific followed up with SJCEHD via email to see if any further action was required. SJCEHD <br /> confirmed no further requests at this time <br /> June 6, 2022 -Valley Pacific provided an electronic copy of the SPCC Plan to SJCEHD via email for review.The email <br /> included our understanding that all documented HW and APSA violations had been addressed and corrected.The <br /> installation of the berm identified in the completed SPCC Plan update would be completed by October 31, 2022. <br /> October 3, 2022-Valley Pacific provided SJCEHD an update and photographs of the completed berm already included in <br /> the June 2022 revised SPCC Plan.The email included a request to acknowledge a successful return to compliance. <br /> SJCEHD responded that it is being forwarded to a lead supervisor for review. <br /> February 27, 2023- 10:19am: SJCEHD emailed Valley Pacific that APSA violations 301 and 712 were still open and <br /> requested proof that items were addressed in the SPCC Plan. 10:17pm:Valley Pacific provided previous emails and a <br /> brief statement of understanding indicating these violations had already been addressed. <br /> March 3, 2023 - Hardcopy notices from SJCEHD were received by Valley Pacific regarding open violations including HW <br /> Violation#502 and APSA Violations#301,#712. <br /> Violations Response <br /> HW Violation#502 -Tank system inspections of discharge systems, monitoring equipment, and tank levels not done <br /> daily. <br /> According to the RTC Letter from March 30, 2022,this violation had been addressed.The text from the RTC letter is <br /> included below"Inspections of the waste oil tank(SPCC Plan -AST-8) are conducted consistent with Hazardous waste <br /> regulations. Site personnel responsible for inspections have been trained on the hazardous waste container inspection <br /> requirements.The training roster has been included for reference." <br /> Valley Pacific received no response from SJCEHD until receiving the notice dated February 27, 2023. <br /> 3 <br />
