SAN ,JOAQUIN <br /> Environmental Health Department <br />N 1 v <br />Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Facility Name: <br />J & H MARINE INC <br />Facility Address: <br />401 N SAN JOSE ST, STOCKTON <br />Date: <br />February 08, 2022 <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />Item # Remarks <br />601 CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days (90 days acute / extremely). <br />OBSERVATION: The following hazardous waste containers were found on-site with an accumulation start date of <br />greater than 180 days or no accumulation start date: A 55 gallon drum of oily water was found on site with no <br />accumulation start date. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66262.34. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 180 days in <br />compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations. Provide a corrective action statement and a copy of the <br />disposal records to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) within 30 days. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br />OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The containers <br />were: <br />A tote containing bilge water were not labeled. <br />A 55 gallon drum containing used metal oil filters and paper filters were not labeled. <br />The following items were corrected on site: <br />55 gallon of oily water <br />Two totes containing bilge water <br />55 gallon drum with oily solids/oily rags <br />Tote containing waste gas <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br />words "Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br />(contents), accumulation start date <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br />action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br />(EHD) within 30 days. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by March 12, 2022. <br />Waste streams found: <br />FA0013653 PRO518011 SC001 02/08/2022 <br />EHD 22-01 Rev. 9/16/2020 Page 8 of 9 Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator OIR <br />1868 E.
