CHP reported a 200-gallon diesel spill north 1-5 south of <br /> W Peltier Rd. <br /> Called CHP to get information, the release occured in the dirt center-divide as a <br /> result from a solo-semi truck accident. There were no waterways impacted as a <br /> result of the release. CalTrans is on site and a clean up company has been <br /> contacted. Asked CHP dispatch if it was safe to proceed. She checked with <br /> officers and said yes it is safe to proceed and they will be there for a couple more <br /> hours. Received the contact information for the CHP Sergent on site. Called lead <br /> senior regarding 200-gallon spill. Called CalTrans dispatch to inform them as well <br /> that I was going to be on site. CalTrans dispatch provided name of supervisor on <br /> site. She also gave alternate ways to get to the spill since 1-5 is closed. Called <br /> Sergent Curtis Glace for information on how to get to the site.
