Spill happened approximately 7/18/2021 at ERNEST <br />10:15 PM. <br />Spill was approximately 5-10 gallons of engine oil released from a commercial <br />vehicle, approximately a mile and one half north of eight mile road, near west of <br />southbound 15. <br />Called CHP sargent Scott Siria (209 943 8600) to discuss incident. Was given <br />property owner contact information for Henry Foppiano 209 401 7481 and Kevin <br />Sanguinetti 209 992 2233. Was notified to contact Chuck Wagner when going to <br />visit site. <br />Called Henry Foppiano to schedule site visit with Elena M. and CHP officer Chuck <br />W. to join. <br />Visited spill area at approximately 1:00 PM. Observed dark oily stained soil, <br />extending from northern levee approximately 75-100 feet south. Staining varied in <br />width, with the widest area being approximately 4 feet wide. No odor of diesel <br />could be observed. <br />Traveled out of the area at approximately 2:00 PM. <br />Updated narrative on 12/28/2021 <br />07/20/2021 Called Henry Foppiano and discussed clean up plans.
