Officer Scott S. indicated I received an email that you called today to see if we had gained responsible party information for OES# 21-3855. I have not been able to make contact with the responsible carrier information DOABA Transportation Incorporated. The driver of the truck, who died in the collision was an owner / operator. The only contact information we obtained from the Sheriff was the driver's wife. The investigating officer is planning on contacting the widow on either the 23rd or 24th, and hopefully he will be able to acquire responsible party information to assist with the clean-up. I understand that the widow only speaks Punjabi, and this has made the contact difficult. Updated narrative 12/28/2021 07/29/2021 Discussed spill with Haza Saeed, Vicky Vang, and Elena Manzo. ERNEST Called and discussed clean up with Rich Harness with LMH environmental 916-847-4032. Discussed spill investigation findings, and how the contractor will clean up the area. Contractors will clean up the area using shovels and containerizing waste. Waste will go out on a manifest. Corrected narrative 12/28/2021 07/30/2021 Returned call to Rich Harness (Principle Engineer) of LMH Environmental at 859-384-0031 at approximately 9:30am. Rich states they anticipate to go on site for clean-up some time today but needed additional information for the site location. I reviewed the complaint record and sent a screenshot of the approximate site location to Rich's cell phone number 916-847-4032 per Rich's request. Rich also requested that the location be emailed to rharness©Imh-env.com. Rich stated that the truck owner's insurance company contacted him to schedule the clean-up. I asked Rich if he has made contact with the property owner and he stated he tried to contact the property owner Kevin Sanguinetti but was unable to make contact. Rich states they will be hiring Ancon to clean-up the site. I attempted to contact the property owner to notify them of the clean-up and left a message. I called Rich at approximately 1:40pm to get an update of the estimated clean-up time. Per Rich, the clean-up will not be taking place today and will be scheduled sometime next week. 08/02/2021 I received a call from Henry, who was returning my call from 07/30/2021. I informed Henry that I was trying to contact him because a cleanup company hand contacted the EHD stating they were planning to clean-up the spill on his property on 07/30/2021. I informed Henry the clean-up did not take place as anticipated and I was unsure at this time when it will happen. I advised Henry to contact Fred Ernest if he has any further questions and to contact Fred if the clean-up company makes contact with him with an anticipated clean-up date and time.
