T-611
March 30th 2019 Stockton, CA
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

It is recommended that the owner / user reviews, evaluates and implements the recommendations set forth in
Section 4.0 of this report or, the owner / user may determine that no action(s) need be taken prior to
continued service and such decision(s) should be documented in the AST historical record file.

 The next formal external inspection per STI SP001 should be conducted within 20 years (ref. STI
SP001, Table 5.5). Complete STI SP001 out of service inspection prior to this date would supplement
the next external inspection requirement.

For elevated ASTs where all external surfaces are accessible, the internal inspection requirements may
be satisfied with an examination from the exterior by using such methods as Ultrasonic Thickness
Scans (UTS). For all other situations, entry into the interior of the AST is necessary to assess the
condition of all surfaces (ref. STI SP001, Para. 8.1.5).

 STI SP001, Table 5.5 recommends periodic inspection for Category 1 Tanks.

 Based on the facility SPCC Plan, the next STI inspection should be performed within 5 years (per
client). The next Formal External Inspection should be performed no later than April 2024 in its current
configuration and facility SPCC Plan.

Inspector’s Signature:

________________

David Udosen
API 653 Certification No. 36010
STI SP001 Adjunct Cert No. 12181
