T-611 March 30th 2019 Stockton, CA Page 11 of 26 5.0 INSPECTION CHECKLISTS CONDITION CODE PRIORITIES CONDITION CODE DEFINITIONS Code A: Unsafe condition, repairs critical to tank integrity (e.g. bottom / shell repairs) - Out of compliance with current STI / SP001 standards. Positive action must be taken prior to continued service. Code B: Recommendation involving inspection findings that do not have immediate safety or environmental implications, but through continued deterioration could eventually become a Code A condition. Recommendations also address out-of-compliance with current STI / SP001 standards with no damage or failure noted. Further Engineering evaluation required. Assessed and documented prior to continued service. Code C: No action required non-critical pertinent findings / suggestions. Monitor for continued deterioration. Code D: Acceptable - In compliance w/ STI / SP001 Standards - No action required 5.1 FOUNDATION & CONTAINMENT Item Description Condition Comment F-1 Inspect foundation for damage such as cracks in concrete, exposed reinforcement, soil erosion, settlement, washout, voids under AST, etc. Code D Foundation is in acceptable condition F-2 Search for indications of leakage. Not Applicable Tank is not in-service F-3 Inspection for soil resting against the AST covering part of the shell or bottom edge projection. Not Applicable Tank is Elevated F-4 Inspect condition of secondary containment. Berms / walls, penetrations, capacity, foreign materials or liquids in containment area. Code D Secondary containment houses 11 other tanks. There are 4 containment sumps present. F-5 Inspect for standing water against the AST and the indication of drainage problems with the containment drain system. Code D Tank is Elevated, sump drains are operational F-6 Inspect accessible areas of leak detection details, spill control and CRDM, if present. Code D Tank is Elevated for CRDM and insulated. Containment is on acceptable condition. F-7 Inspect condition of supports, if present: Note whether supports connect securely to both foundation and AST. Note Support type and quantity. Code D Tank Structural Supports are acceptable and properly secured to the foundation. F-8 Check the tank for grounding connections. Ensure straps are secured and in good condition. Not Applicable Tank is not in service and has no grounding connections F-9 Inspect condition of pathways and containment access points. Check for debris and operability of doors and gates. Not Applicable There are no pathways or containment access points present.
